Delete your AstroExif account

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data from AstroExif (developed by Stellar Flavor).

From the app (recommended)

1. Open AstroExif and sign in.
2. On the Notebook tab, tap your avatar (top right) to open your profile.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm in the prompt.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you have been signed in for a long time, the app will ask you to sign in again for security before deleting.

What is deleted

• Your account (email, name and sign-in with Apple, Google or email).
• Your public profile.
• All the photos you published to the community, with their title, notes and settings, and the copy of the photo stored on our servers.
• Who you follow and who you blocked.

What is kept

• Your notebook (cards, sessions, gear and photos you did not publish) is stored only on your device and is not deleted with your account. To remove it, go to Settings → Erase all data or uninstall the app.
• Reports you sent about other users’ photos may be kept as long as needed to moderate the community, without any data about you beyond an identifier that is no longer linked to any account.
• Aggregated, anonymous analytics data (Google Analytics for Firebase), which is deleted according to the retention period configured in Google.
• If other people followed you, those relationships disappear from your profile when it is deleted, but their accounts are not changed.

If you cannot open the app

Email us at sun@stellarflavor.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my AstroExif account”. We will verify the account is yours and delete it within 30 days.

Remove just one photo

If you only want to take a photo out of the community, open its card and tap Remove from community. The photo stops being visible and your card on your device does not change.
